WE GOTTA NEW TEA FOR THAT!
Summer, summer, summertime. Summertime! Did you read that in Will Smith’s voice? We couldn’t resist. Summer’s here and Teas With Meaning is excited to share our organic handcrafted loose leaf blends that are delicious chilled teas. As we say goodbye to some of our spring blends, we welcome Summer Solstice and Cool Down. These new blends will keep you refreshed, hydrated, and boost your immune system. Staying hydrated is important in the hotter months when it’s easy to become thirsty. *sips tea*
SUMMER SOLSTICE:
Summer Solstice marks the onset of summer. The solstice in June is when the sun reaches its maximum declination. Of course we have one of our seasonal tea blend Summer Solstice to honor the annual moment.
June was a blackity, black, black month for us with Juneteenth, Black Music Month, and National Soul Food Month. As always— we were minding our Black owned business. Supporting other Black owned businesses too. TWM participated in events throughout the Bay Area to honor Juneteenth and Summer Solstice.
For Black Music Month we listened to J. Cole’s The Off-Season and our founder’s fave — Kendrick Lamar — is always in heavy rotation.
June was a month of growth, literally. We expanded our team! TWM welcomes our amazing new Executive Assistant Eboni Cotton and amazing contractors we feel so blessed to work with. In spring we planted the seeds that we’re now seeing blossom in the summertime. We facilitated a virtual workshop on "Brand Loyalty." We added products for giveaways, grand openings, and swag bags. And we started the preparation for more upcoming product releases. Huge shoutout to Poppy & Seed restaurants in Los Angeles, CA who we’ve partnered with for product placement.
As we all head back “outside” after a long year of isolation, don’t forget to keep your immune system strong with either Sunrise or Refresh herbal blends. Whether you’re traveling or at the summer cookout, make sure you’re hydrated with our herbal blends that are made with medicinal and healing in mind. We also make custom blends, wellness kits, and bundles to ensure tea time is magical.
This summer we are diligently preparing for some magical fall releases and the holidays. Yep, the holidays will be here before you know it! Teas With Meaning would be a great addition to your gift giving. And please keep us in mind for your holiday gift guides.
FOUNDER’S MESSAGE:
Remember last summer the “buy black” trend was all the rave? Corporations, celebs, influencers, and seemingly everybody was on the support Black business wave? We appreciate the amazing increased opportunities TWM received because of it. But much like any trend, trends usually fade once the hype is gone. Teas With Meaning has always supported Black businesses long before it became popular online or on social media, and we will continue to do so. Let’s make what’s trendy the norm— not just because we’re Black owned, but because our products and services are bomb and worthy of support. We are grateful for the consistency of community support and love of our brand. Cheers until fall!
